The rest of us did the mile. I should have brought a stroller for Jack! I thought Jack would run steadily along beside us. He was everywhere but on the trail. Syd ran on ahead and I carried Jack (that kid is heavy), while Abby and Sam alternated between walking and running.
It was a fun morning. We finished up with some snacks, and I think all of us won something in the drawing.
