Preschool

We have the greatest group of preschool kids! Jack is going to a neighborhood co-op preschool this year. He absolutely loves it. There are six of us in the group, so we trade off and teach 2 days a week every six weeks. We are teaching a letter curriculum, so each week we focus on a different letter. This is a picture from the last time preschool was at our house 6 weeks ago.

Today(Dec. 6) we focused on the letter J. Of course, J is for Jack! That was very exciting. We made jingle bell necklaces and jumped (we sounded like Santa was coming). We did jumping jacks and talked about jets, January, Joseph, Jesus and siblings with J names. We also painted the letter J. On Wednesday we are going to add jello!

We talked about the calendar, the weather, said the pledge (these kids are getting good), and pulled some surprises out of our alphabet bag. All the while sitting on the fun snowman blanket.

The kids had popcorn, marshmallows, pretzels and apples for snack. And they had a great time just playing. We love preschool! Best of all, it's free!
