Ok, my kids are picky. They actually like this. i.m typing with a baby in my arms. Well, Sam doesn't really like anything...but the others will eat it. Max even said it tasted like Taco Bell. Not sure if that is a compliment.
Mexican Lasagna
1 1lb ground beef (just lost Shauna)
1/2 c onion, chopped (just lost Michele)
15 0z can refried beans
8 oz can tomato sauce
4 0z can chopped green chilies
1 pkg taco seasoning
6 8-inch four tortillas
8 0z pkg shredded cheddar cheese
IN a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion: drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, green chilies and taco seasoning. Layer half of the tortillas on the bottom of an ungreased 13x9 baking dish. Spread half the meat mixture over tortillas and sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 min. before serving. Makes 6-8 servings.

Cathy, I never thought a recipe post could be funny. You succeeded. You also lost me on the tomato sauce. That was funny.
That's very funny!! I think the recipe looks good-my kids like stuff like that.
It reminds me of a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell. I'll have to try it.
You can replace it w/ Turkey and it is really good.
